Set up the parked-order timer on the POS

The parked-order timer helps staff follow up phone orders and pre-orders on the POS. These settings apply to this POS device and control what staff see when they park an order.

Steps

1. Open Settings from the POS menu.
2. Go to the General tab.
3. Find the Park order timer section.
4. Turn on Show ready-time picker if staff should be able to set Ready Time (Optional) when they use Park Order.
5. Under Quick-pick buttons (minutes), remove an option by tapping it, or enter a new number of minutes and tap Add. You can have up to 8 quick options, from 1 to 480 minutes.
6. Turn on Blink when orders are due soon if the Parked Orders button should blink when a parked order is close to its ready time or overdue.
7. Set Alert window (minutes before ready time) to decide how early the blinking starts.
8. Tap Save General Settings.

Tip: Keep the quick options short and practical for your workflow, for example 15, 30, 45, and 60 minutes. That keeps parking orders fast during busy periods.
