Reset a PIN, disable or remove a staff member
When someone leaves or loses their PIN: reset the PIN, disable access or remove the user.

When a staff member leaves, or a PIN is compromised, act quickly. You can reset the PIN, disable access temporarily, or remove the user entirely.
Reset a POS PIN
- Go to Staff / Users and open the person.
- Set a new POS PIN and save. The old one stops working.
Disable access temporarily
- Open the staff member.
- Turn off / deactivate the account. They can't log in until it's turned back on – useful for leave.
Remove a staff member
- Open the staff member.
- Choose Remove / Deactivate when they leave.
Good to know: Past sales, hours and history are kept even if you remove the user – your reports stay complete.
Tip: When someone leaves, disable or remove the account the same day. It's the simplest security step you have.
