Give a discount on the POS

You can give a discount right on the POS, either on one item or the whole sale. This is in addition to automatic campaigns already set up.

Discount on the whole sale

1. In the cart, tap Discount.
2. Choose percentage (for example 10%) or fixed amount (for example 20 kr).
3. Confirm – the total updates.

Discount on one item

1. Tap the item line in the cart.
2. Choose Discount and enter a percentage or amount.
3. Confirm.

Good to know: Discounts you give on the POS show in the reports under discounts, so you can track how much is given. See "Tracking refunds, discounts and tips".

Tip: If a particular discount is used often (for example a staff discount), it's tidier to set it up as a campaign or promo code in the back office than to type it manually every time.
