Give a discount on the POS

You can give a discount directly on the POS, either on the whole sale or on selected items. This is useful for manual exceptions in addition to campaigns already set up.

Steps

1. With items in the cart, tap Discounts.
2. On the Add Discount tab, choose Apply Discount To.
3. Select Entire Order if the discount applies to everything, or Specific Items if only some items should be discounted.
4. Under Discount Type, choose Percentage or NOK Fixed Amount.
5. For percentage discounts, use Quick Percentages or enter your own value in Discount Value (%). For a fixed amount, use Discount Value (NOK).
6. Add a note in Description (Optional) if useful, for example "Staff Discount".
7. If you chose Specific Items, select items under Select Items to Discount and tap Add Discount to Selected.
8. Tap Apply Discount for an order discount, or Apply All Discounts when item discounts are ready.

Good to know: The Manage tab shows discounts already added. There you can review Total Savings and use Remove if something was added by mistake.
