Use Bookings on the POS

View appointments by employee, create new bookings, reserve time and send a booking to the cart for payment.

Bookings on the POS gives salons and other appointment-based businesses a calendar alongside sales. Staff can follow the day’s appointments and take payment when the customer is finished.

Steps

  1. Open Bookings on the POS.
  2. Use Today, the arrows or the date field to choose a day. Earlier days show as View only.
  3. Read the calendar by Employee. Each booking shows time, customer, status such as Confirmed, Completed, Cancelled or No-show, and whether it came from Online, Manual or PoS.
  4. Click Add booking to create a booking. Choose Service booking or Reserve time.
  5. For Service booking, choose Date, Employee, Service, any Add-ons for ..., a time under Available start times, and fill in Customer (optional).
  6. For Reserve time, choose what the block is for, such as Break, Lunch, Cleaning or Meeting, and choose Duration.
  7. Click Create booking or Reserve time.
  8. When the customer should pay, tap Send to cart on the booking. The booking is added to the cart, and you take payment as usual.
  9. Finish the booking with Done, No-show or Cancel as needed.

Tip: Use Reserve time for breaks and meetings, so the same time cannot be booked online.
