A self-order kiosk lets guests order on their own. You control the behaviour from Sales Points > Self-Order Kiosks, with shared choices under Global Kiosk Settings.

Steps

  1. Open Sales Points and select the Self-Order Kiosks tab.
  2. Review Global Kiosk Settings. These apply to all kiosks unless a kiosk has its own overrides.
  3. Under Checkout & Customer Fields, choose whether Customer Name, Phone Number, Order Comment and Campaign Code should be hidden, optional or required where that choice is available.
  4. Turn on SMS Receipt if guests should be able to receive a receipt by SMS. This locks Phone Number to required.
  5. Use Consent Checkboxes, Sales & Terms (pre-checked) and Marketing (pre-checked) to control what guests see before payment.
  6. Open Tip Settings. Turn Enable Tips on or off. If tips are enabled, choose Tip display by clicking Select on Inline on payment page or Modal before payment. The active card shows Selected.
  7. Optionally turn on Require Tip Selection so the guest must choose a tip option before paying. If Require Tip Selection is off, set Default Tip Percentage to 0% — No default, 5%, 10% or 15%.
  8. Under Appearance & Languages, choose Default Theme, Menu Layout and Enabled Languages.
  9. For Menu Layout, click Select on Normal for horizontal category navigation, or Sidebar to keep categories visible on the left while the customer scrolls products. The active layout shows Selected.
  10. Under Order Completion Screen, set Display Duration (seconds), turn on Receipt QR Code and choose whether to auto-print the customer receipt.
  11. Click Save All Settings.

Tip: Use Sidebar on portrait kiosk screens with many categories. It helps customers switch categories without scrolling back to the top.
