Setting up Vipps payments
Connect your Vipps account so customers can pay with Vipps across all channels.

Vipps lets your customers pay with the Vipps mobile app. To accept Vipps you connect your Vipps account on the Payment Methods page, then enable it on the channels where you want it.
Steps
- Open the page. Go to Settings, then Payment methods.
- Enable Vipps. In the Vipps row, make sure at least one channel chip (POS, Kiosk, or Web Order) is switched on.
- Open the integration. Scroll to the Vipps Integration card and, on the Vipps Payments row, click Configure.
- Enter your credentials. Fill in Client ID, Client Secret, Subscription Key, and Merchant Serial Number (MSN). You get these from your Vipps account.
- Choose the mode. Leave the Test Mode toggle on Live for real payments, or switch it to Test to try things safely first.
- Check it works. Click Test Connection to confirm your credentials are valid.
- Save. Click Save Configuration to store the setup.
- Enable per channel. Once configured, confirm Vipps is switched on for each channel you want (POS, Kiosk, Web Order).
Tip: Keep your Client Secret and Subscription Key private, like a password. Use the show/hide control to check what you typed without exposing it.
Good to know: If the Configure button is greyed out, Vipps may be disabled by an administrator, or you may not have permission to change payment settings.
