Set up online ordering (web)

Web Ordering lets customers order from a public website. The tab appears under Sale points once the feature is enabled for your business.

Steps

1. Open Sale points and select the Web Ordering tab.
2. Click Settings on the card.
3. Enter a URL Slug with lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens. Check the address under Preview URL.
4. Under Checkout Defaults, you can turn on Pre-fill terms acceptance and Pre-fill marketing consent.
5. In Pickup time slots, choose the Slot interval, such as Every 15 min.
6. Optionally fill in Max paid orders per slot and Minimum lead time (minutes), or leave them empty for default values.
7. Optionally turn on QR Table Ordering and Enable QR table option for table ordering.
8. When a customer opens a table link, they can see Dine In, enter the table number, and press Start Ordering. If an older table session is still in the tab, the customer must choose in the dialog Hvordan vil du bestille?.
9. In the dialog, the customer can choose Jeg vil bestille til bord nr. {{tableNumber}} or Jeg vil bestille takeaway. For takeaway, they confirm with Ja, bestill takeaway or go back with Nei, behold bordbestilling.
10. Optionally turn on Auto-print customer receipt, choose a Printer, and click Save Changes.

Good to know: The QR table choice is stored only for the customer's active tab, so old table numbers do not follow later visits.
