The Sales report is your main tool for seeing how much you have sold and where that turnover comes from. You will find it in the back office menu under Reports, where the Sales report group expands into a list of ready-made breakdowns.
Steps
- Open Reports. In the left menu, click Reports, then Sales report to expand the list.
- Pick a breakdown. Choose how you want your sales grouped: Time period, Product category, Supplier, Producer, Unit, Dimension, Customer group, Customer, Employee, Payment method, Delivery method or VAT rate.
- Set the dates. Use the From and To date pickers at the top to choose the period you want to look at.
- Add filters (optional). Most breakdowns let you narrow results further, for example by department, employee, category, supplier or producer.
- Generate the report. Click Search to load the figures into the table and chart.
- Export if needed. Use the export option to download the report to Excel or PDF for your records or accountant.
| Breakdown | Best for |
|---|---|
| Time period | Day, week, month or year trends |
| Payment method | Splitting card, Vipps and cash |
| VAT rate | Checking MVA before reporting |
| Employee | Who is driving sales |
Good to know: The Time period report can compare up to six years side by side, and gift card sales are excluded so your turnover figures stay clean.
Tip: Amounts are shown in kr (NOK) and can be viewed with or without VAT, so confirm which view you are in before sharing the numbers.
