Open a table and add items

Start a bill on a table, add rounds through the evening, and take payment at the end.

For table service you keep one open bill per table. You can add items over several rounds and take payment when the guests are done.

Steps

  1. Open the floor plan: Tap Tables (service) on the POS to see your table layout.
  2. Pick a table: Tap a free table to open a bill.
  3. Add items: Ring up the order as usual. If food goes to the kitchen, it's sent to the kitchen display/printer.
  4. Save the table: Tap Save / Send – the bill stays open on the table.
  5. Add more later: Open the table again for the next round.
  6. Take payment: When the guests leave, open the table and tap Pay.

Good to know: Your table layout is built in the back office. See "Lay out tables for dine-in". Occupied tables show a marker so you can see what's in use.
