Hourly and product sales reports

Beyond the grouped Sales report, the Reports menu has two focused reports that answer everyday questions: when are we busiest, and which products perform best. Both live directly under Reports in the left menu.

Hourly sales

1. Open Hourly sales. In the menu under Reports, click Hourly sales.
2. Set the dates. Choose your From and To dates.
3. Filter (optional). Narrow down by department, employee, product category, supplier, producer, customer group or customer.
4. Search. Click Search to see sales broken down by hour of the day (00:00–23:00), shown as a chart and a table.

Product sales

1. Open Product sales. Under Reports, click Product sales.
2. Choose a period and filters. Set the dates and add any filters you need, such as category or supplier.
3. Search. Click Search to list every product with quantity sold and turnover.
4. Customise columns. Toggle which columns you see, such as Sales Incl VAT, Sales Excl VAT, average price and profit margin.
5. Export. Download to Excel or PDF when you need a copy.

Good to know: Both reports can compare up to six years, which is handy for spotting seasonal patterns, and gift card sales are left out of the totals.

Tip: In Hourly sales you can switch between showing figures with and without VAT — use the hour-by-hour view to plan staffing around your real peak times.
