Use Manual terminal for payments and refunds

Manual terminal is a simple screen for payments and refunds on a terminal device. It shows the amount, status, and large buttons that are easy to use at the counter.

Steps

1. Open the device that shows Manual terminal.
2. Tap the screen if it is sleeping with Tap to start.
3. Check the status fields: Business, Socket, and Bridge. They should show the correct business and a ready connection.
4. Choose Pay for a payment or Refund for a refund.
5. Enter the amount on the number pad. The amount appears under Amount with currency NOK.
6. Use C to clear the amount, or < to delete the last digit.
7. Press Pay or Refund at the bottom to start the transaction.
8. Read the status message. After an approved or failed transaction, press New transaction for the next customer.
9. Press Sleep when the terminal should return to sleep mode.

Good to know: If the screen says the device is not assigned or a connection is missing, a responsible person must check terminal setup before you take payment.
