Turning payment methods on and off

The Payment Methods page controls which ways of paying are available in your shop. You will find standard methods such as Cash, Card, Vipps, Giftcard, Credit, and Terminal - Manuell, each one switched on per channel.

Steps

1. Open the page. Go to Settings, then Payment methods.
2. Find the method. Each method has its own row with a short description, for example Cash ("Accept cash payments") or Card ("Accept card payments (requires terminal setup)").
3. Turn it on per channel. On the right of each row are channel chips: POS, Kiosk, and Web Order. Click a chip to switch that channel on or off. A method becomes usable as soon as at least one channel is on.
4. Set Quick Access (optional). Turn on Quick Access so the method shows as a single tap on the main POS payment screen.
5. Repeat for each method. Do the same for every method you want to offer.

Good to know: If a method shows "Disabled by administrator", it has been switched off at a higher level and you cannot enable it yourself. If you see "Not enabled on any channel", switch on at least one of POS, Kiosk, or Web Order.

Tip: Some methods need extra setup before they will work, for example Card needs a terminal assigned, and Vipps needs its integration configured.
