Where your orders come from (POS, Kiosk, Online)
Understand the Order Source filter and tell apart till, kiosk, and web orders.

Every order records where it was placed. This is shown as the Order Source, and it helps you understand how customers are buying from you, whether at the till, at a self-order kiosk, or online.
The three sources
| Source | What it means |
|---|---|
| POS (Cashier) | Rung up by a staff member at the till |
| Self-Order Kiosk | Placed by the customer on a kiosk |
| Web Ordering | Placed by the customer online |
Steps
- Open Orders. Go to the Orders page.
- Open the filters. In the Filters & Search card, find Order Source.
- Pick a source. Choose POS (Cashier), Self-Order Kiosk, or Web Ordering. Leave it on All Sources to see everything.
- Combine with a date range. Add Date From and Date To to compare a single channel over time.
- Confirm on the order. Open any order and check the Staff & Location section. POS orders show the Cashier; kiosk and web orders show Processed By with Self-Order Kiosk or Web Ordering instead of a staff name.
Tip: Filtering by Self-Order Kiosk is a quick way to see how much your kiosks are contributing on a given day.
Good to know: Kiosk and web orders are processed automatically, so they will not have a cashier name attached.
