See turnover by payment method

To reconcile the till and bank deposits, it helps to see turnover broken down by payment method. You quickly see how much was card, cash, Vipps and gift card.

Steps

1. Open reports: Go to Reports and choose the sales report (or the daily settlement).
2. Choose the period: For example today, yesterday or a date range.
3. See the payment-method breakdown: The report shows the total per method – card, cash, Vipps, gift card and any custom methods.
4. Reconcile: Compare the cash total with the counted drawer, and the card total with the terminal settlement.

Good to know: The cash amount here should match what you count at cash-up, adjusted for float and cash in/out. See "Close your shift and count the drawer".
