To take card payments in person, each sales point needs a Worldline card terminal assigned to it. You do this on the Payment Methods page. You can also set up Worldline for online card payments.

Steps

  1. Open the page. Go to Settings, then Payment methods.
  2. Enable Card. In the Card row, switch on the channels where you want card payments.
  3. Go to terminals. Scroll to the Worldline Terminal Configuration section. Each sales point shows its current Terminal ID (or "Not configured") and API Version.
  4. Edit a terminal. Click the edit option on the sales point you want to set up.
  5. Enter the details. Type the terminal number in Enter terminal ID and choose the Version (such as Worldline API v1).
  6. Save. Click Save to assign the terminal. The row then shows whether the terminal is Online or Offline and when it was last seen.

Setting up online card payments

  1. Find the Worldline Online Checkout card further down the page.
  2. Enter your API Key and choose Live or Test mode.
  3. Test, then Save. Use the Test button to validate, then Save.

Good to know: Enabling or disabling Worldline for web ordering is done in Sales Points → Web Ordering settings, not on this page.

Tip: A terminal marked Offline cannot take payments. Check that it is powered on and connected, then look at the Last seen time.
