Setting up the Cashpoints loyalty program

Cashpoints is a points-based loyalty program: customers earn points when they spend and redeem them for money off later. Set the rules under Configuration.

Steps

1. Open the configuration. Go to Cashpoints → Configuration.
2. Set the rates. Under Rates, set the Earn rate (points per NOK) and the Redemption rate (points per NOK), then choose a Rounding mode (Floor, Ceil or Nearest) for fractional points.
3. Set redemption limits. Under Redemption limits, set Minimum redemption (points) and Max redemption (% of order) so points can only cover part of a bill.
4. Set expiry and hold. Under Expiry and hold, set Points expiry (months) (leave empty for never) and Hold days before earned points become usable.
5. Choose channels. Under Channels, toggle POS, Kiosk and Web to control where points are earned and used.
6. Set earn rules. Optionally enable Earn on delivery partner orders and Earn on gift card purchase.
7. Save. Click Save configuration.

Tip: A short Hold days period helps prevent points being earned and spent before a possible return is settled.
