A quick checklist before you launch your menu
The key things to have ready before going live: categories, VAT, prices, photos, customizations and printers.

It pays to run through a short checklist before you open the till, kiosk or web ordering. That way you avoid missing prices or items without a category.
Steps
- Categories in place. All categories are created under Products > Product categories. Remember a category must exist before a product can be added.
- VAT is correct. Each product has the right MVA/VAT Code (MVA25, MVA15, MVA12, MVA0 or UNNTAK). For food, check that Food Service is on so VAT is set automatically (dine-in 25%, takeaway 15%).
- Prices are filled in. Every item has a Price incl. VAT in kr. Weighed or manually priced items have Open Price turned on.
- Photos added. Products shown on the kiosk or web have an image under Click or drag image.
- Customizations ready. Sizes, add-ons and options are added where guests should be able to choose.
- Printers connected. Categories and products point to the right Kitchen Printer (or "Use Category Default").
- Stock tracking considered. Items you want to count have Stock Tracking on with the correct Stock Quantity.
| Check | Where |
|---|---|
| Categories | Products > Product categories |
| VAT and price | On each product |
| Photo | Right column on the product |
| Printer | Category / product |
Good to know: Menu, prices and VAT are shared by the till, kiosk and web ordering. Set it up once and it applies everywhere.
